Hi, I'm Ariel

The greatest lesson I learned

from my professors in design school was to always sketch. Especially when travelling, sketching gives me a deeper connection with my surroundings, and enhances my experience at that time and my memories for years to come.

One of my favorite ways to spend Saturdays

are fixing up our old farmhouse. Getting to spend long days with my family making improvements to our home brings me the most joy.

Growing up in San Diego

embedded in me a deep love and appreciation for Mexican Cuisine.

My personal mantra

is I can, and I will.

I am fascinated with wine.

I am a graduate of Level 1 & Level 2 of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and one of my dreams is to retire to an estate in Catalonia, growing grapes and making wine as a Master of Wine.

Nothing soothes and comforts

my soul like sitting in the sand by the Pacific Ocean watching the sun set.

Candles are the perfect way

to make any house instantly feel like a home.

I will never forget the feeling I had

when I walked into the Notre Dame de Paris for the first time. Experiencing the overwhelming power and stunning beauty of the architecture brought me to tears, and solidified my desire to pursue my dream of a career as a design professional.

I am always in awe

of the beauty of any natural landscape; they always provide me with an endless supply of ideas, and they are my constant source for design inspiration.

“The role of the architect or designers

is that of a very good, thoughtful host, all of who’s energy goes into trying to anticipate the needs of his guests - those who enter the building and use the objects in it. We decided this was an essential ingredient in the design of a building or a useful object” - Charles Eames

A good manicure and pedicure

are staple components of a relaxing day off.

Light. Texture. Balance.

These are the best ways to create a timeless, classic, and comfortable design; my personal design philosophy.
